First names revealed for the 2019 Line Up

We are thrilled to reveal the first 15 names for the 2019 Cambridge Folk Festival! Folk legend Ralph McTell kicks off proceedings on Stage 2, Thursday evening, whilst the beautiful voice of José González graces Stage 1, Friday. Saturday's headliner is the multi Grammy-winning Lucinda Williams.

 

The 2019 Folk Festival takes place 1-4 August, with legends like Richard Thompson and Lil’ Jimmy Reed and the A Team set to join relative newcomers and rising stars at Cherry Hinton Hall. In addition to performing throughout the weekend, 2019 Guest Curator Nick Mulvey will invite a number of personal favourites to join the line-up. Stay tuned for these announcements in the New Year. And the 2019 closing act is yet to be revealed!
