Anglia Ruskin University have always been big supporters of Cambridge Live projects and we are thrilled to be working in partnership with them for this years festival. Both Anglian Ruskin University and Cambridge Folk Festival have a long tradition of supporting rising talent.

Through dedicated emerging talent spaces such as The Den and The Hub, we provide unique opportunities for young, up and coming artists to gain vital experience, propelling many on to successful careers in music. We aim to be at the forefront of folk, roots and world music programming with as open and inclusive an approach as possible. Providing exciting new music for real music lovers and investing in valuable opportunities for new talent is vital to developing the next generation of headliners.

Anglia Ruskin is one of the largest universities in the East of England with campuses in Cambridge, Chelmsford and Peterborough as well as ARU London. The arts are central to life at Anglia Ruskin, they offer a number of music courses including undergraduate and research programmes as well as organising a number of events to support upcoming artists like their Summer Arts Festival which is a celebration of student talent.
