At last year’s 50th Folk Festival, we began a collaborative knitting project. Festival goers brought along granny squares that were sewn together at the event.
2015 PROJECT OUTLINE:
The brief
Knit or crochet a fllower to bring along to the festival with you!
All ages and abilities are welcome. Your flower can be as simple or as complex as you like.
We suggest making them about 10-15cm in diameter. You can use any wool colours that you have at home.
You can bring just the one flower or as many as you like.
Come along to the Club Tent between 12-3pm on Thursday 30th July to meet members of our site art team and stitch your flower to the walkway wall panel. Yarn needles and wool will be provided. Please make sure you drop off your flower by 3pm to make sure it’s included!
