We're Hiring!

Thursday 26 August 2021

After being closed for more than a year, the Corn Exchange will soon reopen (31 August). We have several exciting vacancies for roles in the venue, from overseeing the artistic programme to working with the technical and front of house teams. Some of these posts involve working on the Cambridge Folk Festival as well, so please do check them out if you have an interest in live music and outdoor events.

The four roles we are recruiting at the moment are:

  • Programme Manager (Corn Exchange and Folk Festival), overseeing the full scope of the venue and festival artistic programme;
  • Technical Assistant in the Corn Exchange and Guildhalls - a good fit if you know about lighting, sound, and what it takes to put on a great event;
  • Venue Supervisor, taking a managing role in the venue front of house experience - perfect if you're looking to work evenings;
  • Senior Venue Assistants roles, working in the venue and helping members of the public at events.

The Cambridge Corn Exchange and Cambridge Folk Festival are owned and operated by Cambridge City Council, and these posts are employed by the Council.
